This traditional bamboo scoop, or chashaku, is a Japanese utensil used to transfer powdered Matcha green tea to your bowl or teacup. Hand-carved along the vertical growth of the bamboo and shaped over hot steam, the chashaku is a mini work of art that will enhance your Matcha experience. 

One scoop is approximately one gram and the standard serving of Matcha is traditionally two grams, so the suggested use is two scoops (or half a teaspoon) for your Matcha.
